Towards the end of 2010 we saw a rapid decline in our stock piles of Reclaimed Hardwood & Softwood Flooring and a confident increase in customer demand. Hardwood oak flooring & especially full character graded floorboards including specialised Pippy & Burr grade has been increasing in demand for the last 10 years. For the last 12 months we have noticed a rapid increase in demand for Reclaimed hardwood & softwood flooring, sometimes we find it hard to keep up! We believe this is due to the cheap imported oak flooring that has flooded the market over the last 2 years from China and Eastern Europe. The trend for laminate flooring has also died off and these floors are now being ripped up and replaced by hopefully, with our help, real wooden, good quality reclaimed flooring. Reclaimed flooring can not be matched when it comes to glorious character and rich patinas.
