Product Details

We do like to commend our Scandinavian wood purists for their love of light coloured finishes, whether it be Lye treated or white oiled oak. White oiling is a clean and simple method for lightening the natural colour of oak. Applied correctly and patiently the finished application should not blanket cover the whole piece but rather penetrate various sections of the face at different depths. The true oak character should never be over powered by the natural oak grain and should always be visible to the eye.
