Castle grade once prepared and fitted creates board surfaces on par with our Grande Restoration solid raw material. Surfaces undulations, big shakes and band saw marks are all potential surface characteristics, dependent on your desired finish. Castle requires, sanding and filling because there will be large character knots present, uneven surfaces and shakes.
