All of our trading policies aim to maximize productivity from the resources we use, while minimising waste and leaving as small an environmental footprint as we can. For example, all waste wood is recycled and all sawdust and wood shavings are used by a local farmers etc. We also regularly donate chippings and offcuts to local community project centres, where this 'waste' is turned into fire burning logs, bird boxes or anything else that comes to mind and keeps our environmental helpers busy.

In our office and factory we have used reclaimed timber to build shelves, tables, waterproof structures and a table for the summer BBQ. All of our stationary is composed of recycled paper and our future plans for minimizing board sample material is radically different and involves much less waste material.
