Web design in Manchester
This is a small page with big content. In fact this page could be one of the most important pages on the website, important from our perspective and from our clients perspective. So please take a moment to read these brief points before you consider ordering your floor.
All of our product photographs have been shot naturally, outdoors, with natural light. We have used no additional lights, what you see is what you get. We're aware from customer feedback how frustrating it can be for your samples to arrive and they have little in common with your chosen finish online. Unlike other companies, our wood floor photography has never been over staged, propped or taken in a studio.
It is vital that you consider the light conditions, season and time of day when these pictures were taken because all of the elements may slightly change the perceived hue and tone once your floor is indoors. Natural light, indoors lights, different bulb wattage, interior colour schemes, furniture all play a part in framing your wood floor and creating its locational context.
We have mentioned throughout this website that the motivation for our finishes and our company is nature, we live along side her, she is wild at heart and she can never be tamed. Our wood floor finishes are often a reflection of this. Always natural and never over manufactured, we strive for individuality not mass production and commercial conformity. Because the majority of our finishes are created through organic alchemy and tannin reactions within the oak itself, every board is 100% unique and never, ever the same. Sample panels are for ref only and the completed floor can only be fully appreciated once fitted, only then will you be able to see all the real wood and natures traits working together to create your desired masterpiece and theme. If you examine genuine reclaimed wood flooring you will notice that the beauty is within the variants.
How can we send you a 6" piece of oak? How can you order your flooring from such a small reference piece? For the majority of our products, we advise you not to do it. However, if you're confident in our sample pictures and you are contemplating one of our less complicated finishes, then and only then, will a 6" sample be ok.
If you would like to order a sample control panel from us, then please call in to discuss the options. All charges for your custom-made sample panels are fully redeemable upon purchase
