About this project

Nestled in the charming village of Batcombe, just under the gentle surveillance of the village church, you’ll stumble upon The Three Horseshoes Inn.

It’s a rather marvellous spot that elegantly blends the old with the new, all set upon the solid grace of our Mountain European Oak. This flooring, harvested from select mountain oak forests known for their rich soil and ideal growth conditions, graces the residential spaces of this historic 17th-century coaching inn.  Supervised by the ever-so-dashing former gallerist and local inhabitant Max Wigram, our oak floors now glide effortlessly across the bedrooms and bathrooms, offering a concoction of durability, personality, and an ageless charm.

Each plank, infused with a unique patina developed through organic processes, presents a richness that quite perfectly accentuates the inn’s vibrant and softer design elements. This project, a splendid fusion of sturdy materials and refined craftsmanship, illustrates our dedication to creating environments that don’t just endure but also spin a yarn of everlasting beauty.
