Top Floor Apartment – Reclaimed Pine Cladding

About this project

We absolutely love the way the client has chosen to use our Reclaimed Pine Cladding both horizontally and vertically on the walls of this gorgeous Airbnb rental property.

As you move through the apartment each clever use of wood, from the wall cladding to the stairs to the flooring, makes a different statement and all work together beautifully.

The natural brown tone of the wall cladding enriches the simplistic and neutral colours of this property.

The Reclaimed Pine Cladding used in the dining area has a brushed effect and is cleverly used as a stepped backdrop to the seating area, giving a sense of contemporary warmth and logical flow from one section of the room to the next.

To bring something unique to the design, the wooden wall cladding has been used horizontally, naturally following the lines of the wooden flooring and the table.

Upstairs the simplistic theme continues in the bedroom, with the simple use of pine wall cladding behind the bed, giving no need for a headboard.

A delightful contrast exists between the traditional pine wall cladding and the rest of the clean, sleek and modern lines of the room, giving a calm atmosphere in which to get a good night’s sleep. The clever positioning of the wall cladding gives the room a sense of depth and warmth, whilst remaining minimal.
